Good morning Cougars!


Attention 8th graders who are interested in playing pickleball.  We will be having a new pickleball club starting today.  We will be meeting in Mr. Hoyt's room c409 during core flex. I hope to see you there!


CultureCon 2024 is coming next Thursday, May 2 from 5:30pm to 8pm. What is CultureCon you ask? It is a multicultural fair that celebrates the diversity of our students through the sharing of music, food, activities, dance, and more. We hope to see you there!


The Cross Country Team took on Ford, Keithly and Orting Middle Schools on Wednesday. The team lost to Keithly and Orting but had a landslide win over Ford. 


The Boy’s football team yesterday shut out Keithly 52-0! Amazing jobs by Fujita, John, and Cruz all had picks on defense that were run back for touchdowns! Micah, Michael, and Jayden also had scoring touchdowns for the Cougars! Great job fellas! Next week the Cougars take on Orting at Orting on Wednesday at 3:30pm. 


Finishing first out of all the boys racing was our own Blaise Weter! Scoring for the team was Blaise, Reece, Ayden, Flint, and Parker. 

In the Girls race Ellie Tomlinson finished 4th overall with a fantastic race. Scoring for the girls were Elli,Christine, Alayna, Brooklyn and Ruby.  

A big shout out to the following athletes who improved their times by over 2 minutes: Joel, Brooklyn, Gabriella and Ethan!  Congrats team.

The varsity Fastpitch team won a great game against enumclaw and nettles the rain all night long. Madi Walls had 13 strike out and warned the win in the circle. Great hits were made by Bailee Ratcliffe Flaig, Mallory geving, Walls, and Paige VanMeter was on fire with two doubles. Emily Warner’s bat came alive and Mallory Robson got hit by a pitch. All these little things added to a close win of 6-5. Come out tonight to Auburn High School and root on the team at 7pm!


If you are interested in running to be an ASB officer, election packets  are currently available in Mr. Michel's room. 9th graders - if you're interested in being a sophomore class officer next year, email Mr. Michel for a link to the application. All applications are due on Wednesday next week.

Hey Cougars! ASB is having a food drive this upcoming Monday, April 29th to Friday, May 10th! Bring your non-perishable and pre-packaged food to your 3rd-period class. Proceeds will go to the Fife-Milton-Edgewood food bank and whatever class brings the most items will win DONUTS! Let's start to BLAST AWAY HUNGER!
