We have had a great start to the school year so far. Students and staff have done a wonderful job of building a community here at CJH and I am confident that the remainder of the year will be equally bright.
In order for CJH to continue its support of students, we are hosting a walkathon as our school-wide fundraiser. Instead of asking you to purchase various items from a catalog, we are simply asking you to sponsor your student with a single donation. The best part is all of the money raised goes directly to CJH. We keep 100% of the profits! This means that every donation - $100, $50, $25, $10, $5, or $1 – will add up quickly. And you don’t have to do it all yourself. Family, friends, and coworkers are encouraged to donate their support. Every little bit helps!
All students will be given a labeled pledge envelope for collecting donations. These should be turned in on October 11th, 15th, and 16th, in front of the main office before school.
The walkathon will take place at CJH on Wednesday, October 17th during 5th period. Students who raise at least $10 will be released from class to join their classmates on the track. Also, prizes will be awarded to students based on the amount of donations they collect.
Let’s make this a successful event so that our ASB can continue to support the student body!
